- This blog started out as a fake news blog inspired by the Onion. In the middle it careened off into random opinion pieces, some serious and some not so serious. Now you'll find a bit of both along with a lot of travel pieces given that that’s something I’ve been doing a lot off lately. Most of my travel is within India. I write mostly about history and sometimes food when I travel.*||* This is my old 'About Me' which stayed put for a number of years. Am keeping it for reasons of nostalgia: "I am 26 years old. My favourite animal is the bitch. My favourite colour is red (hence sonargachhi). I am a good boy. I love playing cricket."

For that we have the :
